Tarryl Clark is a Commissioner for Stearns County and the Chair of NACo’s Telecommunications and Technology committee. She also holds several other leadership positions in NACo as the Vice Chair of NACo’s Rural Action Caucus and the Workgroup Lead of the Digital Divide/Digital group of NACo’s Broadband Task Force. Clark is the Treasurer of the Minnesota Inter-County Association Board of Directors, the Chair of the Health and Human Services Policy Steering Committee for the Association of Minnesota Counties, and a member of the board for the Association of Minnesota Counties.
In addition to her leadership positions at many county organizations, Clark is a member of a variety of local, state and national boards, committees and task forces. For instance, she is the Chair-Elect of the State Community Health Services Advisory Committee at the Minnesota Department of Health and a member of the Minnesota Transportation Alliance’s legislative committee.
Clark has significant leadership experience in the nonprofit, government, and higher education sectors, with over 30 years of experience in policy development, advocacy and training. She is a former state senator who served in the number-two elected leadership position and is a licensed attorney.
