Scott started his career in 1986 with GTE of Florida which became Verizon Communications, where he spent nearly twenty-five years. He worked on everything from installation/repair, splicing and eventually worked up to overseeing MDU Fiber Construction on the west coast of Florida. After Verizon he spent three years at CenturyLink in Monroe LA, where he was in Operations Control as a Senior Process Analyst. He assisted in authoring the M&Ps for their fiber deployment. He then joined Summit Broadband in Orlando FL. as a Project Manager of FTTP. In 2017 he joined Tavistock Development under their Dais Technologies brand where he managed outside plant and low-voltage installation services for the Lake Nona Community. During this time, Lake Nona added 500 new homes per year and was named “City of the Future” by Forbes and labeled “A Great American City” by Fortune Magazine. He has spent the past 18 months focused on starting 832 Communications, the new ISP for the 300,000-acre Sunbridge development west of the Florida Space Coast. 832 Communications is developer owned and operated and an XGS-PON network delivering first in class services.
