Director of Corporate Development
Google Fiber
David Finn is the Director of Corporate Development at Google Fiber. Before joining Google Fiber in 2019, David spent 16 years in a variety of leadership and executive roles at Microsoft — with a focus on developing public-private partnerships with city, state, and national officials to protect people and businesses from digital threats like ransomware and spyware attacks, nation-state hacking, counterfeiting, and child pornography. David also spent two years as the COO of a cybersecurity company, AppEsteem, and a year as the executive director of a non-profit, CleanApps.
A former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, David started his career as a research assistant for a member of parliament in London and a business reporter for a newspaper in Gainesville, Florida. He later gravitated to roles aimed specifically at collaborating with people and organizations — whether government officials and regulators, private companies, not-for-profit organizations, or public and private investors — to address broad technology and social challenges.
David graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Government. He received his law degree from Harvard Law School.
