Inspiration for this program was to successfully prepare newly promoted company officers or acting officers to conquer the daunting mental and physical aspects required of the position. The participant will move through three core topics that includes positional attitude, company training, and overcoming supervisory challenges. The presenters will share their personal experiences, instances of success, and the hard lessons learned as company officers in their organization. Combining experience, humility, mental preparation, and knowledge gives every officer the edge.

Learning Objectives:

The participant will be introduced to the three concepts of the Officer's Edge, and learn why the company officer position is the most critical leadership position of any organization.
The participant will learn the the three key leadership components of the Officer's Edge. Positional attitude, company level training, and overcoming supervisory challenges will be covered via the lecture.
The participants will be presented with personal leadership lessons from the instructors, as well as support the discussion through interactive conversation prompted with quotes.
