In the early morning hours of June 24, 2021, an occupied 12-story condominium partially collapsed resulting in the loss of 98 lives. Following the immediate response of local resources including two urban search and rescue task forces, the State of Florida, provided additional logistical and US&R resources as well as coordinated the Federal US&R response. The coordinated response and lessons learned from the state response will be discussed.
