Cancel Culture, it's todays buzz words in many cases. Todays Fire Service Leaders are challenged with knowing the difference between canceling one of their subordinates and holding them accountable for their actions. Todays Fire Service must hold itself to a higher standard in everything we do, most importantly in our ethics. This session will cover fire service ethics, personal and professional accountability, on and off duty behavior, and our social media presence through a lively group discussion.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will learn new how to set realistic behavioral expectations for their teams.
Participants will learn the difference between being held accountable and being canceled.
Participants will gain new insights into how on and off duty behavior affects us all and how to use the Fire Service Code of Ethics to enhance their teams morale and performance.
