Effective skills in negotiation are not necessarily a prerequisite to being a chief officer; however, all chief officers will face situations where negotiation skills will be valuable. This session is intended to give the chief officer some basic skills to be more deliberate in their decision-making and persuasion, while becoming more effective in their negotiations.
