This session will provide an action plan for dealing with clients and their adult children when a retired parent starts a new relationship.
Learning Objectives:
Understand key trends in gray divorce and cohabitation among those over 50 and older.
Identify the financial planning, estate planning and healthcare planning issues faced by retired clients when a new partner is introduced into the family unit.
Develop a clear communication plan for addressing the issues with adult children clients about talking with their re-partnered parent.
