Dr. Ruff is a Scientist at Repertoire Immune Medicines and the type I diabetes DECODE program lead. He focuses on discovering cognate peptide-MHC-TCR interactions to enable antigen-specific immune medicines. He obtained his PhD from the department of Immunobiology at Yale University, where he was advised by Dr. Martin Kriegel. His PhD work focused on understanding human cross-reactivity between autoreactive T and B cells and commensal organisms. Dr. Ruff completed his post-doctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. David Hafler with a continued focus on understanding autoreactive T cell biology in multiple sclerosis and the role of the microbiome in autoimmune disease. Dr. Ruff recently joined Repertoire Immune Medicines and is focused on developing industry-academic collaborations to enable immune medicines for the treatment of autoimmunity and oncology.
