Andrew Quong joined the Standard BioTools (formerly Fluidigm) executive team as Chief Science Officer in June 2019. Prior to this, Quong was the Director of Strategic Scientific Initiatives and Partnerships at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, a federally funded research and development center sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Frederick National Laboratory is at the forefront of basic, translational and clinical science with a focus on cancer, AIDS and infectious disease. Prior to joining the Frederick National Laboratory, Quong served as a faculty member in the Department of Cancer Biology at Thomas Jefferson University and the Department of Oncology at Georgetown University.
