Luigi D. Notarangelo, M.D. is the Chief of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology at NIAID, NIH. His research focuses of the characterization of the molecular and cellular bases of inborn errors of immunity and of COVID-19 and related conditions. He has authored more than 530 publications. He has served as President of the European Society for Immune Deficiencies and of the Clinical Immunology Society and is the current President of teh Henry Kunkel Society. In 2019, he has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine.
