Dr. Peterson brings extensive experience in working in emergency medicine, both in EMS and pre-hospital critical care. Dr. Peterson has worked closely with Life Link III for several years through his role as Assistant Medical Director and Emergency Department physician at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has also served as Medical Director for several EMS agencies in the Twin Cities and is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota – Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Peterson is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, National Association of EMS Physicians, and the National Association of EMS Physicians – Minnesota Chapter. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel University and his M.D. from Loma Linda University – School of Medicine.
