Bryan S. Canterbury, MD is an emergency medicine physician and EMS Medical Director at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Medical Director for Action Ambulance and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. As a volunteer in the medical tents, in 2013 he ran to the finish line to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing. He has lectured both nationally and internationally to a wide group of audiences including physicians, students and first responders and has been featured on TV, radio, print and digital media. He has completed the Boston Marathon 3 times, the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii, and most importantly is the father of two cute kids who keep him on his toes.
