Mike Johnson is a flight paramedics at ShandsCair 3. Mike has been with ShandsCair since 2018. He started with ShandsCair's ground program before being promoted into the flight program in 2021. Prior to his time with ShandsCair, he was a firefighter and paramedic for Newberry Fire Rescue and Alachua County Fire Rescue. Mike was born and raised in Alachua County. He obtained his paramedic certification from Santa Fe College in 2014 and obtained his critical care paramedic from the University of Florida in 2015. Mike has been enlisted in the military for 15 years, where he currently serves as a flight medic.
