James Huston is a Flight Paramedic with 10 years of EMS experience. He got his start doing BLS interfacility transports in and around central Ohio, before moving into a Level 2 Trauma/Level 1 Neuro ER. Upon moving to Minnesota, he discovered his passion for critical care medicine while splitting his time between being a street medic and working on a ground critical care truck. Upon moving to Florida James moved into the HEMS environment and hasn’t looked back. During his time in EMS, he has served as an FTO, educator, and has served on many different committees aimed at improving standardization and patient outcomes.
