Lance Taysom BSN, RN, CFRN, CEN, CCEMT-P, WEMT, has logged 25 years as a flight nurse and medic, currently with Air Idaho Rescue, Parks Region, of Air Methods Corporation, covering both rotor and fixed wing aircraft. Lance also serves as a Field Safety Representative (FSR), and corrdinates survival systems training for all Air Idaho Crews . Lance spends his off time adventuring with family and friends in the mountains, deserts, and rivers. Lance, and his wife Cami, instruct and consult about wilderness medicine and outdoor survival to SAR teams, professional recreation guides, outdoor schools, and wilderness therapy programs across the US and internationally. Lance enjoys the rewards and challenges of building relationships while learning to live and adventure safely in the outdoors.
