Dr. Lund is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Neonatology. She serves as the Neonatal Medical Director for the University of Utah AirMed Perinatal Transport Team, and as the Director of the Neonatal Telehealth (TeleNICU) Program. Her clinical and research interests include the use of telehealth to assist in newborn resuscitation in suburban and rural delivery hospitals, and the interfacing of telehealth and neonatal transport medicine.
Dr. Lund received her medical degree from the University of Utah, and completed residency in Pediatrics at Vermont Children’s Hospital, University of Vermont. She then completed a Neonatology Fellowship and a Master of Clinical Research at Oregon Health and Science University. Prior to fellowship, she served as a Global Health Corps physician diagnosing and treating infants and children with sickle cell anemia in rural Cabinda, Angola, for the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
