Hanna is a Certified Flight and Critical Care Paramedic for Life Link III for the last 8 years. In addition to being a flight clinician she is a Clinical Logistics Specialist, Educator and Preceptor for Life Link III. Hanna has been in EMS for the last 18 years. She obtained her Associates in Paramedic Science in 2010 from Northwood Technical College. She worked as a Critical Care Paramedic for Sawyer County Ambulance and North Memorial prior to her flight career. In addition she is an EMS Instructor at Northwood Technical College for the last 16 years. Hanna also has a background in Law Enforcement, Tactical EMS and Music Education. Hanna is a member of Wisconsin EMS Association, Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association, National Association of EMS Educators and the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics. She received the STEMI Award from Essentia Health in September of 2017 and completed the Extreme Ownership Muster Leadership Course in May of 2019. Hanna volunteers regularly with Haiti Air Ambulance and provided patient triage and care following the devastating earthquake on August 14th 2021. She was the first volunteer in the history of the program to complete 50 flights and earn a set of wings. In addition to volunteering, Hanna is currently in the Bachelors of Health Sciences program at Northern Kentucky University. Hanna continues to strive to become a better flight clinician, educator, mentor and leader in EMS.
