Denise Baylous is a certified flight and critical care nurse, nationally registered paramedic, and manager of Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance. She has been a nurse for 32 years and has experience in cardiac/open heart surgery, Neurological ICU, surgical ICU, emergency room and flight nursing. She received her diploma of nursing at Mount Carmel School of Nursing in 1990, her BSN degree in 2006 and her MSN degree in 2009 from the University of Phoenix. She was an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University from 2006-2012 and has been with Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance since 2003. She serves on multiple hospitals, local and state committees, where she collaborates to bring rapid air medical care to hospitals and communities.
