Kathy Koch has been working with the Tampa General Hospital, Aeromed air transport program as a Flight Nurse, Paramedic since 1996. Kathy is currently the Chief Flight Nurse for the Aeromed 1 base located at Tampa General Hospital. Kathy holds CFRN and CMTE advanced certifications and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership degree with Western Governors University. She is an active participant in local, regional, and state critical care transport initiatives relating to quality, safety, and patient care. Kathy works collaboratively with the Aeromed leadership team to maintain CAMTS accreditation, program policies, safety processes, and performance improvement initiatives. Kathy was a co-presenter at AMTC in 2007 and presenter in 2008.
