While EMS & medical transport are still considered to be in the early phases of professional existence, evolving customs, ceremonies, and honors exist for those who die in our community. Guided by the principle that memorials are an important part of healing and with an emphasis on the ultimate sacrifice made by those who die in the line of duty, this session explores the histories, traditions, available benefits, tributes, opportunities, and organizations aimed at honoring our own.
