Event Description: The speed-mentoring event is an opportunity for mentees in the Early Career Mentorship Program (sponsored by the Early Career Ecology Section) to meet with several of the programs’ mentors in a series of 10-minute small group discussions. This will allow mentees to speak with a range of established ecologists that have diverse interests, experiences, and careers. Our goal with this event is to help foster a mentorship network amongst mentors and mentees engaged in the Early Career Mentorship Program. This program is for early career ecologists that have been accepted into the Early Career Ecology Section’s Early Career Mentorship Program. If you are not a mentee in the Early Career Mentorship Program, please check out some of the other speed-mentoring and speed-networking events being put on by the Early Career Ecology Section that will be open to all ESA attendees.
