Natural History as a practice lends itself to the study of transition. Life cycle. Phenology. Change. Inspired by the joint meeting between ESA and CSEE, the Natural History Section of ESA presents “Blurred Borders: Intersectionality and Understanding.” Our Inspire Session welcomes a trans-disciplinary group of speakers who access the borderlands of ecology to improve human health, challenge political constructs, inspire conservation, or kindle faith. We aim to inspire conversations that dig deep into the roots of our science to find connection to other aspects of the human experience. The Natural History Section asks you to join us as we blur the borders, cross tidelines, and rediscover the many ways that scientists embrace nature.
