I am a 5th year PhD candidate studying hierarchical species distribution modeling with advisor Perry de Valpine at UC Berkeley. I am particularly interested in modeling large scale, semi-structured observational data such as participatory science data. My dissertation focuses on modeling eBird data to understand birds' spatiotemporal distributions in the US.
