Emilie Champagne is a biologist, who finished a PhD on deer-forest relationships in 2017 at Université Laval. She’s been working on assisted migration projects since 2018, in collaboration with researchers of the Direction de la recherche forestière, a Government of Quebec agency dedicated to forest research. Emilie is currently a researcher at this agency and pursues research regarding the adaptation of forest to climate change and deer herbivory.
