Graduate student
University of California, Santa Cruz
I'm a final year PhD student in Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. My research lies at the intersection of natural and social sciences, using quantitative and qualitative tools to investigate the processes, drivers, and impacts of vegetation changes. My dissertation offers an interdisciplinary examination of the interactions among plant phenology, global change, and human society. All chapters are designed to span large spatiotemporal scales, to adapt state-of-the-art data-driven models, and to emphasize societal implications and impacts. After I graduate in 2023, I hopt to continue to conduct interdisciplinary research in the responses of vegetation to global changes.
