PhD Candidate
Department of Horticultural Science/ University of Minnesota
I am a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota (UMN) St Paul, advised by Dr. Julie Grossman. My research is broadly related to understanding how management practices and crop selection influence plant-microbe interactions and soil nutrient cycling. I am an NSF GRFP fellow, and a fellow at the UMN Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change. My thesis project is supported by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture and the International Livestock Research Institute in Rwanda, East Africa. Prior to graduate school, I earned a BA in Biology from Carleton College and served in the Peace Corps in Togo.
