Graduate Student
Acadia University, Canada
BSc (Hons) graduate of Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Currenlty an MSc Candidate at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia under the co-supervision of Drs. Don Stewart and Timothy Rawlings (Cape Breton University). Thesis defense will take place next month on the 16th. Background is in molecular taxonomy and population genetics of marine and freshwater invertebrates (hydroids, gastropods, bivalves), though I have also done some work on fish. My poster covers the third chapter of my Masters, which uses both COI and RADseq to examine population genetics of the Atlantic Sea Cucumber (Cucumaria frondosa).
Also, couple of things I forgot to add to the poster:
>IBD was not significant for this study.
>Pairwise Phist was slightly higher for Zone 4X relative to the rest of Atlantic Canada.
>The funders, so they don't kill me, were NSERC, Mitacs, and ECO Canada.
