PhD Student
Tufts University
They/them pronouns. I am a first-year PhD student at Tufts University studying island invasions, and the influence of global change on species-habitat relationships in boreal bird communities. I received my B.A. with Honors in Biology from Williams College in 2018, where my senior thesis explored the role of individual performance in the cultural evolution of Savannah sparrow song. In the two years since, I have worked on a range of field projects addressing evolutionary and ecological questions in birds, mammals, fish, amphibians, and plants; and I look to expand on this experience as a graduate student in broadening my understanding of the ecology-conservation interface, and developing projects with meaningful applications to conservation managers.
