I am a Ph.D. candidate and NSERC scholar in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. My research aims to examine how minor differences in the biology of any two species can often result in drastically different levels of conservation need – even when facing the same threats. My work is situated in northwestern Madagascar, where I study the population and landscape ecology of two closely related species, the Critically Endangered mongoose lemur (Eulemur mongoz) and the Near Threatened common brown lemur (E. fulvus).
