Sarah Hagen has been with The Nature Conservancy in varying capacities since starting as an intern with the Wisconsin chapter in 2005. Sarah's undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin earned her a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology, as well as a certificate in Environmental Studies from the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. She then went on to complete graduate coursework in Geographic Information Systems and received a MS in Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin. Sarah divides her time between The Nature Conservancy's Illinois science team and the North America Region LANDFIRE team. Her focus is on integrating Geographic Information Systems and geospatial data with ecological knowledge, from conservation planning all the way to impact evaluation. Sarah lives in Minneapolis, MN, USA.
