Community Paramedic
Frederick County Fire & Rescue
Glenville, Pennsylvania
Coming from a family of firefighters, my passion for serving the community was ingrained from an early age. Following in the footsteps of both my father and grandfather, I joined the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company in 2003, igniting a lifelong commitment to the EMS and fire service.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a dedication to excellence, I embarked on a journey that led me to become a paramedic in Maryland in 2009. Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving with multiple fire departments across four counties and two states, continually pushing the boundaries of my experience.
In 2013, my path converged with the Frederick County Division of Fire Rescue Services, where I served as a Fire/Medic and Paramedic Preceptor, before ultimately finding my calling as a clinician with the Mobile Community Healthcare Program. Here, I've had the opportunity to combine my passion for EMS with a focus on community outreach and patient care.
Throughout my career, I've been honored to receive several recognitions for my contributions, including the Division's Lifesaver commendation for a cardiac arrest resuscitation during the Frederick Running Festival Half Marathon.
As I continue to serve my community through emergency response, I remain committed to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
