W. Scott Gilmore, MD, EMT-P, FACEP, FAEMS is an emergency medicine and Medical Director for the St. Louis Fire Department. He has been involved in emergency medical services for over 26 years. He started his career in healthcare as an Emergency Medical Technician-Ambulance in a suburban fire-based system. He continued his training and became an EMT-Intermediate, EMT-Paramedic and EMS Instructor. Dr. Gilmore is a respected speaker, having given numerous presentations at the local, regional and national level on various topics in emergency medicine and emergency medical services.
