Serving at the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) for over 30 years, Bill Troup is currently the Branch Chief of USFA’s Emergency Response Support Branch and was formerly the Branch Chief of the National Fire Data Center. He manages USFA research programs in Firefighter and EMS Responder Health and Safety as well as other areas. He has numerous fire and EMS professional certifications and serves as an active firefighter and EMS responder in his community. He was awarded the IFSTA Everett E. Hudiberg Memorial Award for Fire Service Training in 2016 and the EMS 10: Innovators in EMS 2008 by the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Magazine. Bill Troup has a Master’sDegree in Business Administration (MBA). He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
