Dr Linda Dykes, MBBS (Hons), FRCEM, is a Consultant in Emergency and Interface Frailty Medicine in Hereford, UK. Having worked extensively with EMS services in both the Welsh Ambulance Service and regional Search & Rescue community in her previous post in North Wales (where she was the Director of the multi-agency collaborative Bangor Mountain Medicine project), Linda moved to Hereford in 2020 to pursue her interest in community admission-alternative services for frail elderly patients. Dr Dykes went to medical school in Newcastle University, trained in Emergency Medicine in the North-Eastern & Mersey deaneries, and became an Consultant Emergency Physician in 2005. She is also a qualified GP. An enthusiastic and lively presenter, Linda has taught at medical and EMS conferences in multiple countries, on a range of topics.
