Michael S. Gerber, MPH, NRP, is a paramedic and life member with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad. He is also a senior editor with Health Affairs, a leading health policy journal. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, an EMS educator and author who served as the lead writer for EMS Agenda 2050. Previously, Michael was as an EMS supervisor with the Alexandria Fire Department and a consultant with RedFlash Group. He holds a Master of Public Health from the George Washington University.
