Julianne Ehlers is the Program Director for the NEMSIS Technical Assistance Center. She leads the program in strategic operations and facilitates the development, maintenance, and education for the National EMS Data Standard. She has been an Advanced-EMT for 16 years in various capacities of 911 scene response, training officer and instructor. As an experienced healthcare emergency manager, she oversaw planning, training, response and mitigation efforts in medical surge, healthcare facility response, and coordinated regional planning and response for cross-jurisdictional healthcare partners. Julianne also served as lead instructor for several healthcare disaster courses at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. She holds a Masters in Emergency Management/Homeland Security from Arizona State University, Bachelors in Emergency Services Administration, and is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from the International Association of Emergency Managers.
