Dr. Poudel has completed undergraduate in Medical Lab. Technology and master in Clinical biochemistry from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Nepal. Dr. Poudel worked as a Leturer from 2010 to 2013 in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal. Dr. Poudel worked as an Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2014 in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal. Dr. Poudel completed research fellowship training from 2014-2015 at KU Leuven Belgium, which was sponsor by European Union Fellowship. Dr. Poudel completed his PhD (2016-2021) in the Department of Experimental Therapeutics and Medical Pharmacology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Williams. Currently, Dr. Poudel working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Dr. Susztak's Lab in the division of Renal, Electrolyte, and Hypertension at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Poudel's research area includes hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and kidney disease. Dr. Poudel has presented and attended several national and international meetings and awarded with several national and international awards. Dr. Poudel has several publications in the field of hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and kidney disease.
