I'm an anatomist and medical illustrator, and currently pursuing a PhD in Anatomy at Penn State COM. At Penn State, I taught both lecture and laboratory courses in cadaveric, dissection-based human anatomy, embryology, histology, and neuroanatomy to medical students, physician assistant students, residents, and graduate students.
During my medical illustration training, my research included the development and implementation efficacy of an interactive timeline to teach temporal relationships of body cavity partitioning to graduate and dental students. I'm aiming to become an anatomy professor following the completion of my PhD.
I am currently working in the Kamal Lab in the Department of Orthopedics, studying the molecular mechanisms regulating osteoarthritis and postnatal skeletal development.
