Dr. Desmond Boakye Tanoh, (born August 16, 1992, Kumasi, Ghana) is a Ghanaian physician who received his Doctorate in Medicine degree from the Volgograd State Medical University in Volgograd, Russia. He runs an online health page that is dedicated to providing free health education and consultation. He has worked in Ghana as a house officer (intern) in the biggest teaching hospital in Ghana, the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, which serves as a National and West-African cardiac referral center. He also serves as the medical director of BioStealth ltd, a UK online-based health company. He is Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Students certified and an internal medicine residency candidate. He aspires to work as an interventional cardiologist.
Since 2020, Dr. Boakye Tanoh has served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where he has worked on ex-vivo and in- vivo cardiac models in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
