Maycon Ferreira is a bachelor in Physical Exercise from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and master of science in Human Moviment Science from UNESP. Actually is PhD candidate in Translational Medicine from Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Maycon is an exercise physiologist who studies cardiovascular response and adaptation induced by exercise training in hypertension. The current focus of his research is on the influence of antihypertensive pharmacological treatment alone or combined with concurrent exercise training on hemodynamic, autonomic and neuroimmune mechanisms in hypertensive rats submitted to ovarian hormone deprivation. In addition, his research has investigated the effect of sinoaortic denervation on the adaptations induced by drug therapy and exercise training interventions.
