Tanishka Saraf earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. She is currently a fourth year PhD candidate at Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, studying serotonin receptors in Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). Her research focuses on developing pharmacotherapies that target the serotonin 1A receptor subtype in FXS. She is experienced in rodent surgery, behavioral assays, electroencephalography, colony management, autoradiography, radioligand binding assays, and immunohistochemistry. She is inclined towards opportunities in drug development for central nervous system disorders.
