Her research interests focus on the physiological changes within the brain that occur following sport-related concussions and subconcussive head injury. Her current research studies the effect of sport-related concussions on circulating blood-based biomarkers in collegiate athletes through cutting-edge techniques, including SIMOA technology and spectral flow cytometry, to assist with injury diagnosis.
Meghan earned an M.S. in Exercise Sport and Physiology, with a focus on human movement and biomechanics, from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. For her master's research project, Meghan investigated the effect of foot type on ACL injury risk factors in collegiate female soccer players.
