I'm Alejandrina Flores Carrillo an undergraduate biomedical engineer from Universidad La Salle in Mexico. I'm working on my thesis project at Instituto Nacional de Cardiología Ignacio Chávez with Dr. Adriana Mercado. Our research is related to the functional structure of KCCs which are members of the SLC12A family cotransporters. Our model of study is Xenopus laevis oocytes which are microinjected with cRNA for protein expression.
