Jia-li Zhang a Ph.D student of Spine Research Institute, Longhua hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, majoring in traditional Chinese pharmacy. The research interests mainly include exploring the biological effects of traditional Chinese medicine on the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) involved in types of tissue injuries. In 2021, a systematic review titled as “Therapeutic options of TCM for organ injuries associated with COVID-19 and the underlying mechanism” was published in Phytomedicine (IF= 5.34) as first author. In August of 2020, she has won the second prize of the outstanding oral presentation in the academic annual meeting of the Precision Medicine Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine. She has also awarded with the National Scholarship for Postgraduates (2020), and Outstanding Student of the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2021, she presented at the 17th International Postgraduate Symposium on Chinese Medicine and the Doctoral Forum on the Heritage and Development of Chinese Medicine, where she received awards.
