I am a full time faculty dedicated to teaching physiology for undergraduate medical students (MBBS), Bachelor of Nursing and certificate level students (Paramedics) since 2015. I am fascinated with the mechanisms and functioning of Human body and Physiology has been my favorite subject since my early medical school days. Having the opportunity to teach future Healthcare professionals excites me even more. To pursue my passion in teaching physiology and enhance my knowledge and skills in Medical Education, I regularly participate and present in seminars and workshops. I have been participating in IIMEL (International Institute for Medical Education and Leadership) conducted conferences and workshops. I have completed my fellowship from FAIMER (Foundation for advancement of Medical Education and Research) Institute , Philadelphia (2019-2021). This has enhanced my knowledge and skills in Medical Education which has been utilized while teaching physiology. I am an active member of American Physiological Society (APS) since April, 2021. I have submitted my abstract (ID-R78) for Experimental Biology 2022 in the topic category 1341-APS Teaching, Learning and Testing in Biological and Biomedical sciences. I am looking forward to be in Philadelphia during April 2-5, 2022. This “International Early Career Physiologist Travel Award” would be such a blessing and really mean a lot to me.
