Networking can be time-consuming, awkward occasionally, and frequently perceived as a waste of time because you don’t see the immediate reward. Yet, many successful people will tell you how powerful networking is in the job market, career advancement, and development of your skillset. Therefore, it is essential to know who you network with within your workplace and outside of it and their relevance to your career. I will share my views on how to make lasting connections and how to use your professional association to build a strong network that can open the door to new opportunities.
