Dr. Ryan J. Adam graduated from the University of Iowa in 2017 with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. His research was mentored by Dr. David A. Stoltz, and focused upon assessing lung structure and function using chest computed tomography imaging in people with cystic fibrosis and cystic fibrosis pigs. Following graduation, Dr. Adam completed a two year postdoc at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in the lab of Dr. Hanjun Wang. There his research focused upon interactions between the nervous sytem and the cardiovascular system following myocardial infarction. Dr. Adam joined the lab of Dr. Alison J. Kriegel at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in the fall of 2019, where his research focuses upon chronic kidney disease.
