Manuel Castillo-Angeles, MD, MPH is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. At the Division of Trauma, Burn and Surgical Critical Care, his research focuses on emergency general surgery and trauma surgery outcomes and improving the organ donation process through collaborations with New England Donor Services. Another research interest is surgical education, both at the medical student and resident levels. He also provides qualitative and quantitative support for a variety of projects.
After Manuel received his MD degree from Cayetano Heredia University in Peru, he completed a Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
