Song, Juquan MD is currently assistant professor/research at surgery department in the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. Dr. Song received the M.D. degree in 1993 and served as a clinical forensic examiner for 7 years at China. He has worked in the research area of burn and trauma since 2000 and completed the NIH T32 research fellowship training at 2010. His research interests are to study the pathophysiological changes in burn and trauma, especially to understand the mechanisms of muscle atrophy after burn, trauma, and disuse, and further develop therapeutic approaches of tissue regeneration.
